At an altitude of 831 m, the Pöhlberg offers a fantastic panoramic view over Annaberg-Buchholz and the Ore Mountains, inviting you to hike and linger. On the mountain, which is largely made of basalt, you can explore the oldest mining area in the Annaberg - St. Briccius region or be inspired by the "butter barrels" on the north side of the mountain.
At the summit of the Pöhlberg, there is the Pöhlberghotel with a restaurant and viewing tower.
