The trail winds through natural environments rich with Mediterranean vegetation, including mastic trees, holm oaks, and strawberry trees.
This demanding mountain bike loop is designed for experienced riders ready for a true test. Be sure to carry enough water, though you'll find two springs along the way for replenishment. A convenient resting area is available at Fontana Sambu, offering a good spot to pause. From Fontana Sambu, you also have the unique option to secure your bike and continue the final stretch to Punta Cupeti on foot, allowing for a different perspective of the summit.
