Mountain biking

The Carrilet Olot-Girona does exactly that, it takes you from Olot to Girona on old train lines that are now nice for biking or hiking. The section between Olot and Les Preses is very beautiful. It starts by going through three or four tunnels, past an old station, which is now a cafe, and then opens out onto fields as you approach Les Preses.

Mountain biking

An absolute must do when you love cycling. This via verde is just stunning. Perfect smooth gravel, beautiful nature, dozens of bridges and tunnels. This upper part of the Ruta del Carrilet has it all. For me the best ride I’ve done on 2024. Used a gravelbike with 40mm tires.
