In the past, four waterways converged under this bridge of the Pont le Prêtre. In the village, four old water mills were powered by the power of the water. Mills were used for grinding seeds and oils. One was also used for the drives in the sawmill.
A little further from this point, the water continues to find its way to the Semois.
