You can reach the village of Harlingen either from Merzig or via the turn-off on the country road L174 or from Bietzen.
After you have overcome the strenuous climb, you will be rewarded with a magnificent view into the valley.
So cyclists and hikers - the Panoramaweg Merzig is calling !!!!

The climb from the Merzig side up to the Panoramaweg is demanding, therefore considered more difficult than from the Harlinger side.
In addition, the road surface there is also very damaged, which did not make the descent any easier either (on this section, there is therefore also a speed limit of 30 km/h).

Road cycling
The access road from Merzig is reachable via Hochwaldstraße. From there, turn into Wilhelmstraße at the old Merzig hospital / Fellenberg-Stift senior center and drive all the way through it. Then turn left (Scheiberweg), where the climb to the Panoramaweg already begins.
