The route on the lower part of the Plauer See consists mainly of little to no paved paths.
Very nice but rather challenging for occasional riders with touring bikes.

Cycling

A narrow, natural singletrack trail runs along the southern shore of Lake Plau, making it ideal for sporty cyclists and mountain bikers. The path leads through dense forests, past small coves, and directly along the water. Rooty sections, tight bends, and occasionally sandy, sometimes muddy sections make the trail varied and, in places, quite challenging. Views of the shimmering lake open up again and again, accompanied by the peaceful rustling of the trees – an intense nature experience on two wheels. 😉👌 The journey is the destination!
