Hiking

Heck cattle and Exmoor horses live in the mostly open area and take care of the landscape maintenance. The Ochsentour is a beautiful circular hike with a route length of around two and a half kilometres.

Hiking

The former mining area, with its depressions created by the collapse of cavities, is now a nature reserve. Not only do numerous species of birds and wild animals live here, but following successful settlement, aurochs and Exmoor ponies can also be found here.
