Running
The Auracher Köpferl is a very distinctive mountain spur. From the southeast, the climb is partly rocky and steep (in places T4, i.e. you have to use your hands to help you), from the north you can access it via a normal mountain path. From the small summit area (there is a cross and a summit book) there are only views of the Leitzachtal.

The ascent and descent on both sides was sometimes quite hard - not an easy hike. But really beautiful!

A short detour. The view to the north is definitely worth it. The signage at the top is not optimal, but the path itself is easy to see. A surefootedness is definitely required.
