Beautiful, recently refurbished bridge only for cyclists and pedestrians, which will bring you across the Rhin in Molchow. The River Café right next door invites you to linger. You should also pay a little attention to the town of Molchow itself, as Fontane already attested to a “bright and light” atmosphere. A look at the individual bell towers is definitely worth it.

Hiking

After almost four years of construction, it has been possible to cross the Rhin again since 2020 thanks to the new, visually striking Molchow Bridge. The old bridge was closed at the end of 2016 because it was no longer safe for traffic. After long discussions about the design - a wooden variant was favored locally - the decision was made in favor of the steel girder bridge. The costs amounted to 2.5 million euros.
