The factory was founded in 1903 by Eduard Albert at the site of the old Uscher Mühle. The decisive factor for choosing the location in the picturesque Kylltal was the convenient connection to the Gerolstein–Trier railway line, which opened in 1871, as well as the Kyll, which flows directly behind the plant and provided the necessary energy for production. To this day, precision tubes (including those made of brass and aluminum) are processed there.
