At the gates of Turin, as soon as you leave the industrial areas and the busy provincial roads, a mountain corner, with pastures, woods, and a small village that looks like it came out of a nineteenth century postcard. The road from San Mauro to Rivodora climbs gently - then rears up right in Rivodora, and continues on high slopes up to the Pilonetto: however, up to Rivodora you climb well, making just enough effort to enjoy the landscape. In some ways it recalls certain corners of the Langhe. Recommended destination.
