Situated on the Coniston Fells above Coppermines Valley, Levers Water lies at the foot of the steeply descending slopes of Great How, High Fell and Raven Tor.

At 1,500 feet (457 meters) high, the bleak and rugged lake is nestled into the Coppermines Valley, an area well known to walkers.

The descent here is quite challenging - steep and rocky. Also in wet weather, as the stones are still very slippery.
