Hiking

In the middle of the village is Bietingen Castle. It is surrounded by a park. The castle and park are privately owned and not accessible. The castle was built from 1720 onwards for Ferdinand Maria von Hornstein. The plans came from the master builder and artillery lieutenant Johannes Dobler from Hohentwiel. In 1897, the two-story castle with a gable roof underwent a historicizing renovation: it received crow-stepped gables with battlements.
