Between 1900 and 1905, the cemetery chapel was built. Its location - on the east-west line and its architecture - refer to Christian tradition and the ancient symbolism of the setting sun in the cult of the dead. Built on a cross plan in the Neo-Romanesque style, topped with a dome, it was intended to imitate the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. The interior of the chapel was originally decorated with rich polychromy with floral motifs. In the 1920s, a crematorium was erected next to the chapel.
