Hiking

The Villa Novalis in Hirschberg, former Villa Knoch, is a manufacturer's villa and is a testimony to the industrial age in Germany. The late classical building with the three floors and the flat roof in the style of Roman country villas is located in a spacious park. After many years of use as a “kindergarten villa” and twelve years of vacancy, a family of musicians took over the property in 2015, which it has been renovating ever since and has developed into an artistic center for concerts and music training.

Originally the villa of the leather manufacturer Knoch, later a kindergarten and now again a residential building and cultural center.

Nice to see when new life is breathed into such old walls.
