Low Water Tarn sits below the eastern craggy slope of the Old Man of Coniston, and out of its northwest shores comes Low Water Beck. It follows a stunning short journey over glorious Lake District terrain, tumbling over craggy outcrops at several places. It is a popular beck for visitors, especially due to its proximity to the Coppermine Valley with its disused mines. It joins Levers Water Beck at Grey Crag and eventually flows into Coniston Water.
