Mountain biking
The forest drive is a toll (cars not for bikes) acess road across the forest from Kielder village to the A68 road near Byrness. It cuts a massive corner if your driving. For mountain bikers or gravel bikes it's quite a fun adventure across 19km of wild forest. The surface is reasonable gravel, suitable for a slow car but quite fun on a bike, just not really technical.
