Hiking

The Kipsdorf station is the terminus of the Weißeritztalbahn. Badly affected by the floods of the century, it has only been back to Kipsdorf since 2017. Certainly a highlight for railway fans. You can also ride in an open car. Certainly very interesting for children too. The newly restored train station is a feast for the eyes.

The community center in the spa town of Kipsdorf is located directly at the final stop of the Weißeritztalbahn and is therefore perfect for a short trip after a tour on the narrow-gauge railway. It is also only a 3-minute walk to the bus stop. In addition to plenty of information, you will also find hiking maps, souvenirs and tickets for the Weisseritztalbahn and much more. The spa town of Kipsdorf is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours in the Altenberg holiday region.
