Hiking

The garden is the oldest part of the palace complex. It was laid out shortly after the property was purchased around 1700 and was completed in 1725. The Upper Belvedere is about 23 meters higher than the Lower Belvedere, which is why the garden is divided into an upper, middle, and lower parterre. The differences in level are marked by two cascade fountains richly decorated with sculptures.
