Hiking
In Lenné Park on Schneckenberg there is a 70-hundred-pound obelisk with a ball on top. The design was created by the sculptor Johannes Boese. The obelisk bears the inscription "To the creators of this facility" facing east, i.e. towards the park. The names of the individual creators can be read on the stones around the obelisk. These are Lenné, Buek, Lehmann, Lienau, Mende, Schmeißer and Steinkopf.
