There should be something for everyone here. The lake has a nice size for a walk with the family, a lap by bike or on foot in running shoes. With the Black Forest in the background, it offers an optimal backdrop. The lake is very easily accessible in Freiburg im Breisgau by tram. Also very feasible for wheelchair users or rollator users.

is always worth it, as it's simply beautiful here! ... you can also sit nicely outside in the Biergarten or at the "Lago" restaurant by the community center.
Also here: the "Seebühne" for concerts. Behind it lies Freiburg's "Japanese Garden" (twin city with Matsuyama). Finally, the floating pontoon bridge at the other end of the lake is also recommended.
