Running
Striding Edge leads airily up to the summit of Helvellyn from the Glenridding & Ullswater side.
It's a classic and brilliant grade 1 scramble that is a brilliant although serious adventure at a run. Many sections are hands on for most people so don't expect to sprint up it.
This is very challenging in high wind or wet/snowy/icy conditions so make sure you're prepared.
