Borgo Pietro Lupo, the only hamlet of Mineo, was built in 1941 on the initiative of the fascist government, dedicated to the soldier Pietro Lupo. Although conceived as a civic centre, today the village is mostly abandoned, with many uninhabited houses. Nearby, there is the Mongialino Castle.

Hiking
This small village, where a handful of inhabitants still live, is an excellent starting point for an adventure that will take you to visit the castles of Mongialino and Serravalle.
