It is part of the Ecomuseum of Malesco which describes it as follows: "Inside the wash house you can find eight large granite basins placed side by side on two series, 40 cm deep and with a total capacity of 444 liters of water; this allowed as many as 24 washerwomen to use the wash house at the same time, thus making it not only a common tool for washing clothes, but an important meeting place ".
