The Beuren Chapel was built around 1520 as a donation from the residents of Beuren. During the Baroque period, probably after 1700, it was somewhat remodeled – the nave was lengthened and the roof renewed – presumably to allow for religious services, as in the Bargau branch churches of Buch and Beiswang.
