Hiking
While this is not an unknown path - it seems well used by local runners/dog walkers, this path is a surprise countryside route starting right in the urban sprawl.
It takes you from Stank Hall (near the White Rose Centre and the Parkwoods) all the way out to the far end of Middleton at Lodge Lane. While the walking at the far end involves an immediate bit of residential or commercial estate walking, it does provide a link into more countryside walking around Robin Hood or Ardsley and beyond.
