The Georg Victor Tower stands on the 560m high Eisenberg.
On a clear day you can see the Taunus from the tower.
Right next to the tower are the freely accessible ruins of the old castle complex Schloss Eisenberg.
Germany's largest gold deposit is in the mountain. The mine can be visited.

Getting there by racing bike is not ideal, but if you follow the right path at the signpost to the tower above the village of Goldhausen, it is still doable.

Currently (17.05.2026) the wooden bridge to the castle ruins is closed, but you can also climb into the castle ruins from the back. Have fun!
