Pure gravel from top to bottom, the Horton end has bigger rocks to avoid, but a nice fast ride.

The run-up towards Pen-Y-Ghent, the third of the three mountain peaks during the annual Three Peaks Cyclo-Cross. This part can still be cycled to some extent before you have to get off your bike towards the top. You are only allowed to cycle here on that day. Other days of the year this mountain is only open to hikers.
