A rocky peak high above the valley on which a wooden deer visible from the valley floor is reminiscent of the legend according to which deer that were cornered here tried to save themselves by jumping from the rock.

The Hirschsprung, high above the Höllental, offers a wonderful view of the valley and the surrounding area. It can be reached on foot via various hiking trails.

Hiking
The Hirschsprung is really a highlight and the access to the Höllental, we didn't have the best weather on this tour, but in the end it was worth the visit because of the great view.
