Landscape park created at the end of the 19th century in connection with the Friedrich Arnold company along the Leuba in Langenwetzendorf; the water from the (dammed) park pond was used to power the steam engine, which in turn drove the mechanical looms in the weaving room of the factory down the river;
The park festival has been celebrated annually in July for over 50 years; the fountain is also elaborately decorated for 2 weeks around Easter every year;
