The summit cross at Klammerfels at 848 meters was erected in 1950 and renewed in 1990. Due to the dense tree cover, there is no view directly at the cross. For a panoramic view, you only need to walk a few meters further to the wooden observation tower.

The summit cross was erected in 1950 and renewed in 1990 by the Bavarian Forest Association - Waldmünchen section. From the summit cross, however, there is no longer a good view due to the tall trees. You have to climb the observation tower a few meters away, which offers an impressive panoramic view.
