The landscape of the Penedès plain is characterized by its undulating relief, with gentle slopes only interrupted by the passage of numerous streams, rivers and torrents. The cultivation of the vineyard is omnipresent, and gives it character, along with its peculiar distribution of small inhabited nuclei, isolated farmhouses and small towns.
