Hiking
A wonderful path surrounded by greenery that leads to cretai, as Ischia is an island of volcanic origin.

Hiking
Along the way, some fumaroles are clearly visible, with the inevitable "Fumarole Papyrus" (scientific name "Cyperus polystachius"), a rare plant that needs, precisely, the particular microclimate of the fumaroles for its vegetation. It is also present elsewhere on the island and always in correspondence with these small volcanic vents that are well worth the metaphor of "breath of the earth"
