This Garden of Remembrance marks one of the worst tragedies to occur in the country – the Aberfan Disaster. In 1966, 116 children and 28 adults lost their lives as a collapsed coal mining tip engulfed the Pantglas Junior School.
A peaceful and beautiful garden, here you can reflect on the event and take a moment to remember those who died as well as their families.
