Lagrasse, located on the banks of the Orbieu, is the old capital of the Corbières region. The place is awarded as one of the most beautiful villages in France, and it is fun to stroll through the streets here. The old town with its Roman arched bridge and the Abbey of Sainte-Marie d’Orbieu are among the highlights in the Cathar country.

Hiking
Great old town with a charming flair; especially nice in the off-season, as it is otherwise very crowded
