On the Zeehoeve farm - built around 1881 - the Restoration Foundation helps young people who are at a great distance from the labor market to gain work experience by e.g. Restoring forts and the green areas of the Amsterdam Defense Line. On the farm, the youngsters can work in the vegetable garden, in the orchard and in the greenhouse. The disciplines of construction, gastronomy, equipment, lessons and fitness are offered in the farmhouse and in the stables.

Hiking
This farm fell under the circle law of 1814. The buildings in a circle around forts (in this case fort Diemerdam) had to be demolished quickly to keep the field of fire clear. This farm was therefore built entirely of wood.
