Mountain biking

With its population of just over 1,000, Frankenheim certainly does not know how to impress. Perhaps, however, with its height: the small town lies at an altitude of around 760 meters and is therefore the highest village in the Rhön. In any case, it is nice here. Frankenheim is located in the middle of the nature reserve "Rhönwald" and in the area of the former border strip, which was very accommodating to nature: There are many rare plants and animals here. So keep your eyes open and you can discover a lot here.
