The medieval city center of Amersfoord, laced with canals where you can find many authentic shops, bakeries, cafes and lovely restaurants. The city has also one of the tallest medieval church towers in the Netherlands. It's a great place to stay.
The only thing that bothered me, as a dog owner is that the city center is officially not allowed for dogs to enter. So we had to find a solution since we definitely wanted to visit the town.
