The station is served by the connections of the Rapid Regional Railway, as well as regional connections to larger cities, tourist and health resorts.
The city of Tychy leases the station building until 2039.
In 2010–2015, the station hall was renovated, a new bus station was built at the station and a multi-storey P&R car park was built.
The multi-station bus station adjacent to the railway station is served by trolleybuses and ZTM buses (including the airport line AP4) and long-distance buses (including international).
