The Forchheimer Kaiserpfalz is always worth a visit. It is partly used as a museum with changing theme exhibitions. In addition, there are always concerts in place, it is included in the arts and crafts market and the Christmas market. In the vaulted cellar of the Imperial Palace, coffee and cake are sold at these two events.

The castle in Forchheim (also called the Kaiserpfalz) was an important city castle of the Bishop of Bamberg in the city of Forchheim in Upper Franconia. The castle was built in the late 14th century. After extensive archaeological and architectural studies, it is one of the best researched structures of this period in Central Europe.
