Road cycling
The Marchtrenk power plant generates 40 megawatts with two Kaplan turbines - enough for a city with around 40,000 inhabitants. It is interesting here and for being a power plant, it fits reasonably well into the environment. Always better than various other types of power plants;)

The construction of the Marchtrenk power plant in 1977 led to a further regulation of the Traun, the damming made it possible to raise the groundwater level and many countermeasures to secure the river habitat were taken. Around 173 million kWh of electrical energy are generated every year, which supplies around 49,400 households with clean electricity.
