Hiking

This imposing log house was built directly on the Rennsteig. The adjoining garden also shows great attention to detail.

Hiking

The design of this log house is simply worth seeing. Very lush and big, maybe a bit bombastic, but that's a matter of taste. It looks rustic on the heights on the outskirts, even if it has nothing to do with traditional Thuringian construction. Fine examples of slate houses can be found elsewhere in town.
