History
Edit
It is unknown when the old cemetery was first used as a cemetery. While cemeteries were typically located next to the church in earlier times, the old cemetery is situated well outside the city walls and near the former high court. It may have originated as a plague cemetery or a knacker's yard.
The last burial took place in 1884. Since then, the Kronberg im Taunus cemetery has been used for burials.
