For those who want to leave the beaten path, the Baltard Cliffs are an absolute discovery. These towering cliffs are less touristy than those in Kilkee or Moher, making for a raw and serene walk with nothing but the sound of the crashing ocean. Atop the cliffs, you'll find the remnants of a Napoleonic Signal Tower, built in the early 19th century to warn of a potential French invasion.
