Cycling

Since October 2021, the Mühlensteg has been available for cyclists and pedestrians. It is part of the Enzradweg (Enz cycle path). Directly at the ascent to the bridge, a large playground has been created in the Enzpark. In addition, you can see a mill wheel in action. It doesn't drive a millstone, but a generator that produces electricity. The bridge offers new photo opportunities of Besigheim.

Meanwhile, the continuation of the cycle path under the bridge has also been completed and can be ridden.

Cycling

The new section of the cycle path (Mühlensteg) through the Enzpark allows you to ride at river level and cross it. With a little consideration and moderate speed, trouble-free riding is possible even on Sundays and public holidays! On the Enzterrasse (near the road bridge), there is catering on summer weekends, as well as occasionally at the Ernst'schen Mühle, directly on the jetty.

Great bridge over the Enz with a beautiful view of the old town of Besigheim and the historic mill wheel.
