Klooster Wittem is an active religious community in the Dutch hills. There are daily prayer moments and celebrations and people live and work together.

Wittem Monastery was founded by Ferdinand von Plettenberg, hereditary marshal of the Bishopric of Münster, in 1722.
In 2005, the Dutch province of the order was merged with the Cologne and Swiss provinces and Wittem was designated as the headquarters. Due to financing problems, the convent was forced to sell parts of the monastery complex in 2018.
