"The church was created by the conversion of an original late medieval building in 1742 by Andreas Hünigen. The building has a long, narrow nave, two small ridge turrets and a massive west tower from the late Gothic period. The retracted chancel from around 1600 is spanned by two net vaults in late Gothic forms. A barrel-vaulted sacristy on the north side of the chancel dates back to the Middle Ages.
