Mostly good to drive. Since you drive behind the dyke, you don't see much of the Weser. But mostly good asphalt and little / no traffic.
September 2022: The dyke is currently being renewed, which is why there are some detours and dirty roads. (hence the comment from Komoot that you have to dismount and push)
