Located in a flat area between the Reno River and the Comacchio valleys in the Mandriole area, there is a fenced marble memorial stone with a base with commemorative inscriptions inaugurated on 9 August 1896 in the exact place where Anita Garibaldi was temporarily buried after her death at the nearby Guiccioli farm; subsequently, in 1932, her remains were transferred to the Janiculum in Rome.
