Hiking
There is a mini golf course and a café/snack bar right next to the Bachtelweiher. However, I wouldn't have voluntarily used the designated bathing area with that water.

Great restaurant right on the Bachtelweiher. The food is delicious, the prices are fair and the staff is super nice. We like coming here. The children have a mini golf course outside, a small petting zoo and a playground.

Hiking
The Bachtelweiher is not a great swimming lake for various reasons and has already been closed in the past. Due to the low water exchange, a lot of mud accumulates and fertilizers from the surrounding fields collect in the lake.
